Barnes to Release Indelible Austin Volume 5

After the release of Indelible Austin Volume 4 in 2022, Michael Barnes has announced his intention to pen another installment in this very popular and successful series, which will be Indelible Austin Volume 5. Each volume of Indelible Austin is a compilation of articles written by Barnes, chronicling an aspect of Austin’s rich and diverse history. As with the previous releases, Volume 5 will be published by Waterloo Press, the publishing arm of AHCA. Waterloo Press is also talking with current AHCA President Charles Peveto about publishing a book based on his walking journeys through Austin’s history. Peveto is a longtime resident of downtown Austin and posts narratives about the history he sees as he walks to his various destinations.

In addition to the book projects, Waterloo Press will also have a pop-up shop at the Texas Book Festival Nov. 11-12 near the grounds of the state capitol. Stop by and peruse the various books, historical maps, and other Texas history-themed merchandise available for purchase.
